Woo hoo! I got the starfish & beads done! What a beautiful piece to complete for my final finish of 2015. A Happy New Year indeed! Thanks again to Diane Herrmann for a great class.

You did a great job! Doesn’t it feel good to make your goal? Happy New Year!
Comment by Liz December 31, 2015 @ 1:55 pmYes, I am so happy! I even had to take a 2-day rest because I overworked my right hand. I did hand stretches & stitched shorter periods. The bullions were tough with DMC floss. I don’t think I breathed as I worked them. Phew!
Comment by melitastitches4fun December 31, 2015 @ 5:42 pmThis is such a beautiful project and you did a wonderful job stitching it. Please post a picture when you’ve framed it.
Comment by brendasneedlepointstudioblog January 1, 2016 @ 12:33 pmI will definitely post it! It’ll be going back to the framer just as soon as my other pieces are ready. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Comment by melitastitches4fun January 1, 2016 @ 10:54 pmIt is beautiful, Melita, and beautifully stitched! Of all the pieces I have stitched this one still calms we and brings a smile when I look at it. When you take it to be framed, among the mats you place behind the stitching, do try a sand color. Sue

Comment by melitastitches4fun January 1, 2016 @ 10:52 pmI am in awe of this canvas, great stitching. Is this only available by taking a class?
Comment by Marie January 3, 2016 @ 10:37 amYes, but the ANG CyberPointers Chapter will offer it as an online class in June 2016 & usually has it open to non-ANG members at a higher price if you are not a member of ANG. http://www.cyberpointers.org/?p=2868 It was fun stitching.
