We got some great tips on photographing needlepoint from Jennifer Reifenberg. I have been getting photos on cloudy but bright days but need to get a white board to help get rid of shadows. Also, I need to get a white and black matte background fabric depending on what I’m photographing.
Photo taken a few years ago.
Today’s photo during class.
So, I can already see an improvement in my photos.

You can get photographic backgrounds in photography shops for your photographic needs. They come in different sizes and are non reflective and have other qualities I can’t remember that go into professional photography…black, white, green and others…my research dates back to the wedding photography so decades have passed, Ba!

No fabric will come close. Believe me, I’ve tried tons!
Reflections…ironing…lint…
I could list failures of macro photography a mile long that photographic boards solved painlessly!
Ok. Great, I’ll check them out first. Thanks Na.
