I found this stitch tossed in a bag of canvas scraps. Very pretty motif. I have no idea of the source. I’m not sure how I stitched it. Does anyone recognize it?
Have you had any luck yet? The stitch looks familiar to me but I cannot place it. I have been through both Jo’s most recent Needlpoint Book and A Pageant of pattern for Needlepoint Canvas page by page. If you have yet to find the source I will begin going through my Brenda Hart books.
No luck yet. Maybe I made it up? Don’t work too hard at it Deborah! Although is looking through stitch books really work? Sounds more like fun. Thanks for trying.
Nothing in Brenda Hart but it sort of resembles what I would describe as an expanded waffle stitch with filling??? Let me know if you figure it out please.
