Irish Blessing

The Irish have a wonderful saying that my mother (whose birthday is today – yes, on Halloween) stitched for my husband for his birthday one year. Both his mother & father are Irish. It is a stamped cross stitch piece. Oddly enough, his mother picked that to be on the back her memorial card when she died. So, now, it make us think about both our mom’s! Happy Birthday Mom!!

That’s lovely. A good memory, too!

I would love to know where to find this cross stitch for myself. If you know the name of the company that made it or where the pattern may be found please let me know.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, I do not have any information on the company. I didn’t find any documentation of pieces my mother had finished. Sorry. But, I did find the saying on google (http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-perl/itemdetail.pl?item=03-1264), May you find what you are looking for!

I have founds several, but the picture posted here seems to be one of the nicer ones. I will keep looking for a border or accompanying scene that I like. Thank you.
