I am caught up with Ribbon 1 of Razzle Dazzle by Ann Strite-Kurz in both the fall and teal colorways. Each of the first 3 steps became quite easy after doing them 14 more times.
Step 4 did get easier and I didn’t have to do the double running technique. I worked it similarly to the way as Ann diagrammed it but worked it on the opposite diagonal path.
It’s quite apparent that I am selecting different values of thread colors between the fall and teal versions. It’s quite interesting to see these develop.
There is plenty of time to work on Ribbon 2 before our next ANG Main Line Stitchers chapter meeting on September 14. But, I will not be taking these to Stitch-in tomorrow since they are too big.
With just the center done, I preferred the aqua version. Seeing them with the first ribbon done, I’m liking the fall version more! Interesting to see how ones’s perspective changes as the project progresses!
