Next up is Passion from the Cabochon Series by Susan Portra. I didn’t have a color photo of the piece and several threads have been discontinued but I had the correct Rhapsody overdyed thread. And, I was able to determine the colors of the discontinued threads and selected substitutes for them.

I had the basic pattern established using Rhapsody before attending the Central Jersey Chapter meeting/Stitch-in on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

I’m so glad that I attended and was stitching this one because Pat, one of the members, had stitched this one years ago and sent me a photo of hers. I was able to confirm my choices will be good.

At my ANG Main Line Stitchers Stitch-in the 4th Saturday of the month (yesterday), it was easy to talk and place the silver Fyre Werks following the existing outline and finish filling in the 4-way Continental. Concentrated counting and talking doesn’t work well for me. I’ve planned my Stitch-in projects well.
